Taste the best of Daylesford and Spa Country Wines by taking our Daylesford Winery Tour. Pick up from your location in Daylesford or from the Visitor Information Centre. Enjoy the wineries without the worries of driving.
Wineries available to visit include:  Basalt Ridge, Big Shed Wines, Butlers Lane of Glenlyon, Cloudscape Wines, Ellender Estate, Wombat Forest Vineyard and Zig Zag Road Winery.

Based at Mt Franklin in a purpose built straw-bale premises featuring shop, café & garden, chocolates made on site, viewing window into kitchen. Chocolates made with the best Belgian chocolate and freshest ingredients. Over 80 different selections of chocolates available.


The Convent Gallery
A temple for the arts, The Convent is a place where art, food, culture, history and spirituality unite to offer visitors a soul satisfying experience. Boasting seven individual galleries discover traditional and contemporary paintings, prints, glassware, pottery, sculpture, jewellery, furniture, ceramics and textiles by renowned local, interstate and international artisans.


Captain Creek Organic Wines (Wine Tasting)
Captains Creek Organic Wines is a small family owned vineyard producing premium handcrafted certified organic wines. Situated at Blampied near Daylesford, Captains Creek produces organic wines from the noble grape varieties - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.


Boomerang Ranch (Horse Riding)
Boomerang Ranch offers horse riding, with all rides supervised. The trail rides take you through beautiful bush land allowing you to experience nature first hand. Trail rides cater for the absolute beginner through to the more experienced rider.



Tuki Trout Farm (Fishing)
Tuki  has a trout fishing facility with spring fed ponds and licensed restaurant; guests are welcome to fish and have complimentary use of rods. Your catch is cleaned and packaged for you, and the trout are $12.90kg or can be part of a meal.



Canoeing (On Jubilee Lake)
Jubilee Lake, at the south-eastern edge of town, was constructed in 1860 to supply water for the goldfields and for domestic purposes. It is now a popular spot for boating, picnicking and swimming. Picnic facilities, wood BBQ's, toilets, playground, boating, kiosk. Circuit track around lake.



Ellender Estate ([Fine Tasting)
Ellender Estate is a 40 acre property nestled in the hills on the north-western boundary of the Macedon Ranges Wine Region. Winemaker, Graham Ellender, produces ultra-cool climate wines from his estate vines, resulting in the 'Ellender" label. Graham has opted to grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris grapes.



Lavandula Farm (Lavender products and dining)
Lavandula is a little taste of Europe. Stone farmhouse buildings cluster around a cobbled courtyard, surrounded by a beautiful garden, lavender fields, the creek and distant hills. The Barn stocks homewares and garments, and Lavandula's range of potions good for body and soul. At La Trattoria eat indoors or al fresco in the ash grove.



Tangled Maze (also Specialist Nursery)
Situated near Kingston, The Tangled Maze is constructed from hundreds of flowering plants, grown on trellises to provide the traditional puzzle. Mini Golf Course, Misty Downs Nursery, and cafe facilities.



Cricket Willow (Cricket History & Sales)
Visit the picturesque birthplace of the Australian cricket bat. Cricket oval, pavilion and cafe. Extensive collection of memorabilia.



Istra (Smallgoods Tastings & Sales)
Prosciutto, pancetta, capocollo and sausages from locally-bred pigs. High Street, Musk (outside Daylesford)



Barcaldine House (Wine Tastings)
Barcaldine Country House is set on a picturesque 40 acres with 360° views of farming country. A perfect setting to unwind, the charming Gothic Style home is surrounded by the Wombat State Forest. Devonshire and afternoon teas and wine tastings.


A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking.
